What occasions are these cards for?
The church photo cards open with a "Congratulations!" default because they work particularly well for Christian achievement and recognition occasions. But all text is editable - change the greeting to anything that fits:
Choosing the right design
Cards 1 and 2 (white churches in golden sunset and autumn foliage) have a timeless American feel that suits Christmas, New Year, and general occasion cards. Card 3 (English abbey with tulip gardens) and card 8 (church framed by red tulips) are the most vibrant and spring-like - well suited to Easter and congratulations cards. Cards 6 and 7 (Alpine mountain churches) are dramatic and grand - good for formal occasions, milestone anniversaries, and Christmas cards with a scenic quality. Cards 4 and 5 offer a more intimate, peaceful atmosphere suited to sympathy, thinking-of-you, and get well messages.
Printing tips for photo cards
These designs use full-bleed photography, so paper quality makes a bigger difference than with illustrated cards. For best results use glossy or semi-gloss photo paper - it brings out the colors in the church photographs significantly better than plain card stock. If you only have standard paper, the cards still print well but the colors will be slightly flatter. Set your printer to "Best" or "High Quality" mode and make sure background graphics are enabled in your browser's print dialog.
How to print your card
Click any design to open it in the maker. Edit the greeting, message, and signature, then choose quarter-fold (4 small cards per sheet) or half-fold (standard card size). Click Print, turn off headers and footers in your browser's print settings, and enable background graphics. For a matching envelope, switch to Envelope mode in the maker after printing your card.
